Babcock Genetics WPDES Permit Hearing

Click on the image above to link to a video by Independent Scout Reporter Gillian Pomplun from the recent public hearing for the reissuing of the Wisconsin Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (WPDES) permit for Babcock Genetics hog CAFO, in La Crosse County. About 40 citizens came to the hearing. It was truly inspiring to witness so many citizens, and importantly La Crosse County Officials standing up in the face of our ongoing public health crisis of contaminated surface and drinking water.
