Crawford Stewardship Project’s (CSP) Drinking Water Education & Testing Program came to a close last Saturday with a Drinking Water Forum in Seneca.
In the midst of a Spring snow storm, 30 local citizens attended to listen and discuss with Kevin Masarik, UW Extension Groundwater Education Specialist, and Dr. Steve Oberle, CSP Drinking Water Consultant. Kevin presented on groundwater hydrogeology and the well test results from the 53 private wells tested in our program, bringing his integrated knowledge and understanding of the relationship between land use, contaminants, and water quality.
We want to thank all of the participants in our Drinking Water Education & Testing Program, and all of the hard work done by the lab and Kevin.
Look forward to more action and advocacy as CSP continues to spur coordinated county testing programs in our area!
