Wisconsin Farmers Union: Farm & Rural Lobby Day

It was an inspiring day of democracy in action with WFU members gathering from all over the state to advocate for our rural farming communities. We spoke with our representatives on issues set by our grassroots membership: groundwater quality, hemp production, and access to affordable healthcare.
Along with urging support for specific budget initiates that will help our rural farming communities: relating to agriculture, conservation, and rural economic development.

CSP specifically prioritized the need for state funded clean water initiatives as well as more protections for our drinking water right now!

Thank you to all those who helped organize and construct this positive, empowering experience, and important dialogue between constituents and our state representatives. Please contact your representatives and ask them to fully fund and support Governor Ever’s clean water budget proposals and to go further to protect our rights to clean drinking water now!
