About the event
Noon - Free lunch from the camp kitchen! We will be demonstrating our new karst groundwater model. Please RSVP if you'd like lunch, so that we can plan enough food.
1pm - Presentation about the Driftless Springs Survey. Chloé Fandel, Asst. Professor of Geology at Carlton College. Chloé and her team have sampled over 300 springs so far, including some on the Sugar Creek Bible Camp campus. Check out the projects awesome interactive website here.
2pm - Tour of Sugar Creek springs and seeps highlights. We'll be walking an easy loop from the Manna Center, across grassed slopes and along a dirt path.
